I. Auction Introduction:

II. Theme/Venue: (Website Premier) “An International Theme…Vegas Style!!!”
Convenience of location, familiarity, fewer time constraints, relaxed atmosphere Campus transformed to an International Vegas wonderland
New This Year: Online Silent Auction bidding 2-3 weeks before auction date. Silent Auction will resume the night of auction. Endowment on-line throughout year
“What happens at the auction… stays at Seven Hills!”
Attire: International Theme to Vegas Flare!
III. Some of Our Ideas: We are open, and welcome, to any and all other ideas to help make this a successful and fun filled evening
- Live Band – Philip Claypool and the Perfect Alibis (Sinatra) - International Themed Dinner/Dessert Buffets - Live Auction VIP Table - Faculty Entertainment - Classroom Themed Art Projects for Tenvold (Silent Auction) Decorations - More themed sign-up party packages - Wedding Chapel with onsite photographer, with printed pictures to take home that night - After live auction, Cigar Lounge - After live auction, Gaming Tables (Blackjack, Texas Holdem, Craps, ???) - Increase contributions of teacher packages - Grandparent Solicitation - $ towards ???

Committee Job Descriptions 2007-2008
Advertising/Merchant Acquisitions: Involves solicitation of merchants for items, sponsorship and advertising.
Live Acquisitions Coordinator(s): Involves brainstorming new ideas for Live Auction items. Asking parents to donate or sponsor.
Wine Acquisitions Coordinator(s): Soliciting wineries for donations.
Parent Acquisitions Coordinator: Asking parents to donate/underwrite items.
Catalog Design: Compile all information needed for the catalog. Design, lay-out and finalize for print.
Classroom Coordinator: Work with Jean Sherlock to get the names of individual class coordinators to create Classroom items.
Computer Entry and Set Up: Enters all data in Maestrosoft for reports, catalog, and auction set up. Works directly with Inventory/Catalog Coordinator(s).
Decorations Coordinator(s): Venue decorations, if needed, and dinner table decorations. Design, create and lay-out.
Entertainment Coordinator(s): Coordinate entertainment as needed (faculty/staff dance routine or volunteers in costume, etc…)
Faculty/Staff Coordinator: This person coordinates donations from faculty and staff and reminds them to get their items in on time.
Guest Promoter: Cheerleader of Auction!!!
Inventory/Catalog Coordinator(s): Receives all donations for write up and tagging. Coordinates final delivery of items.
Live & Silent Set Up Coordinator(s): Coordinate volunteers the day of to set up tables and placement of items, and set up displays as needed.
Newsletter Coordinator: Collects, compiles, and writes articles. Goal is to produce a newsletter every other month or more.
Online Auction Coordinator: Works directly with Web Master during the last 2 months of auction in collecting all bids made online.
Sign-Up Parties Coordinator: Recruit parents to donate theme parties.
Technical Coordinator: Responsible for helping Event Coordinator (Carolyn C.) make sure things are running smoothly throughout the evening.
Treasurer/Cashiering Coordinator: Handles checks received for sponsorships, underwriting and advertisements. Coordinates all transactions the night of auction
Volunteer Coordinator: Recruits and coordinates all volunteers for the day/night of auction, including setup, take down and clean up.
Web Master: Designs website and updates information. Creates online auction.
Year In Review Video: Compile Year In Review video or some sort of focus on the children for the Endowment portion of the evening.
