Ways to Give

We welcome your participation in The Campaign for Seven Hills, and encourage you to consider the Campaign priority most meaningful to you.  Your gift can take several forms:

Current Gifts*: You may make a current commitment to The Seven Hills School, and fund it with cash, securities, life insurance policies given outright, real estate or other assets.  Gifts of appreciated securities can offer particular tax advantages to the donor, in addition to helping The Seven Hills School. 

Matching Gifts: You can leverage your own giving if your employer offers a gift matching program.  You will be credited for the total amount in our gift recognition clubs, and your employer will also receive recognition in donor publications. 

Pledges:  You may pledge an amount to the Campaign priority of your choice, and arrange to pay it in installments over three years. 

Planned Gifts: You may create a charitable trust or other option that benefits The Seven Hills School and offers you substantial financial planning benefits.  One of the most common, the charitable lead trust, allows the organization or person you designate to receive yearly income for a specified period of time, after which the principal of the trust reverts to The Seven Hills School.  We can work with you and your advisor to create the instrument that works best for you.

Bequest Intention: You may make a provision for The Seven Hills School in your estate plans, assuring a legacy that lasts beyond your lifetime. 

Gift of Personal Property/Gifts in Kind: Seven Hills welcomes gifts of many kinds of personal property such as real estate, art, books, etc. that may be liquidated and used to support the mission of the School. The Development Office will be happy to help determine whether the School can make use of any offered gift. For more information, please email Gretchen Bartzen at gbartzen@sevenhillsschool.org.  Please note: To substantiate the value of the gift for income tax purposes (if it is worth more than $5,000), you will need to obtain an independent appraisal from a qualified appraiser.

*Note:  Given the nature of construction costs, gifts in support of building needs must be current ones or pledges paid over three years. 

Whatever level of your gift you deem appropriate, your participation in The Campaign for Seven Hills is important.
