Affording Seven Hills

We are committed to making The Seven Hills School as accessible as possible for a wide range of families. To accomplish this goal, we have implemented a method for determining tuition based on a family's ability to contribute to the educational expenses of their student(s) in conjunction with the availability of the school’s allocated funds.

To be considered for Modified Tuition, you will need to complete an application. The application process is the same at most independent schools, though the program may go by a different name (i.e., Tuition Assistance, Financial Aid, Indexed Tuition, Flexible Tuition).

Please take a look at the scenarios below to understand how Modified Tuition functions at Seven Hills. Income and assets (home equity, savings, investments) are the primary factors determining tuition amounts. If a family does not apply for consideration or qualify for Modified Tuition, they will pay the maximum tuition amount listed below by grade level.

Seven Hills is deeply committed to welcoming families all across the range of the economic spectrum. This inclusivity broadens perspectives, reinforces our core values, and helps us fulfill our mission to foster respect for and responsibility to our world.

Modified Tuition Scenarios

22% of the families at Seven Hills pay a modified tuition.

There is a wide range of families who qualify for Modified Tuition. The formula used to calculate Modified Tuition considers many factors that affect a family’s ability to pay, including household income, assets, and expenses. The school or a family can't determine the level of tuition for which they qualify unless the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) application is completed.

These are purely illustrative composite scenarios and do not represent any current Seven Hills family or a guarantee of a possible Modified Tuition. The examples below are based on the 5th-8th grade maximum tuition rate.
