Kindergarten Welcomes New Feathered Friends!
After spring break, Kindergarten students dove into an exciting hands-on science unit all about chickens and ducks. Both classrooms eagerly began their exploration of bird life cycles—starting with fertilized eggs in incubators.
In April, 3rd graders unveiled the Valley Oak Canopy Classroom—a lasting gift to the community and the culmination of their Young Changemakers project.
To kick off Black History Month, Seven Hills welcomed Branly Cadet—classically trained sculptor of iconic public artworks and Civil Rights sculptures—for an inspiring campus visit.
Step onto campus on a given Friday afternoon, and you'll witness our 4th and 5th graders engaged in dynamic small-group activities. It’s part of the Curiosity Workshop, a vibrant pilot program launched last fall.
Taking Learning Outside the Classroom and Into the World
As Seven Hills has reintroduced touchstones of our program that were on pause during the pandemic, the return of field trips and overnight trips has stood out as integral experiences for deep learning and out-of-the-box exploration at Seven Hills.
Middle School Students Explore New Scanning Electron Microscope
With a gift to the science program from a generous donor, Seven Hills was able to acquire its very own scanning electron microscope—opening new doors for scientific discovery on campus.
During the last week of October, while most middle schoolers were off on outdoor education trips, 6th graders and a group of 8th graders were engaged in a week-long, project-based experience focused on water.
Faculty and staff professional development is a high priority at Seven Hills because we believe that students should be taught by the best-trained, most motivated, and incredibly passionate teachers.
