Simone Marean is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Girls Leadership. She has taught Girls Leadership programs and presented on girls across the country and internationally, including the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls and the American School in Dubai. Simone has a Masters degree in Educational Theatre from NYU and has taught at many New York City schools. She will be speaking on the topic of "Raising Resilient Girls" which explores the social context girls are immersed in the U.S. and offers tips for parents so they can act as role models of authenticity.
