Serving Preschool Through 8th Grade in the San Francisco East Bay Since 1962

Parents, Friends

Our parent community is a diverse collection of folks who share a common belief – that a Seven Hills education is one of the single greatest investments they will make in their children’s future. They also share our belief that if we ”develop the intellect, engage the spirit, and foster respect for and responsibility to our world,” we will graduate students who are ready for the next academic adventure, the next community to which they will contribute. We could not achieve our goals without a strong partnership.

To strengthen our home-school partnership and opportunities for dialogue in addition to parent-teacher conferences, Seven Hills hosts grade-level parent roundtable meetings twice a year. At these roundtables, we share more about our philosophy and curriculum, discuss child development, preview upcoming “need-to-knows,” and build community as a parent class.

Our parents are engineers and entrepreneurs; artists and analysts; teachers and writers; designers and photographers; chefs and students; and moms and dads who work in the home. About one-third of Seven Hills’ families are families of color, with an array of family structures.

They are as varied as the East Bay in which we all live and work – and we celebrate our differences as we come together on campus.

Did you know?

Seven Hills has about 550 parents who form a community of parenting, volunteering, philanthropy and fun.
"When we were looking at school options for our kids, most of our analysis was about their education. But a little bit was about the parent community, and who we'd be spending time with over the next several years. We've found our friends at Seven Hills."
