The Parent Involvement Association (PIA)
The Parent Involvement Association (PIA) is the unified parent organization for our Seven Hills “neighborhood.” The purpose of the PIA is to:
- Build community and organize the school's non-academic activities that enrich the Seven Hills experience for students, parents, faculty, and staff;
- Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, issues, and concerns; and
- Engage in volunteerism and fundraising activities to support Seven Hills initiatives.
At Seven Hills, we are connected, not by geography, but by the community that we’ve built and continue to build. Accordingly, the PIA theme for 2020-21 is Seven Hills: Connected by Community.
The PIA works with our parents to continue or discover the joy of volunteering. Our parents have the opportunity to sign up for one of the 30+ committees organized by the PIA. From the Halloween Festival to Support-A-Family, from the fun annual auction to the Parent Lecture Series, volunteer opportunities are as diverse as the parents who take advantage of them, with plenty of opportunities for working parents to contribute.
All members of the Seven Hills Community are encouraged to join us for our monthly PIA meetings, typically held the first Tuesday of every month to hear about upcoming PIA events, how to get involved, and parent education topics.
Seven Hills parents are extraordinarily generous with their time and talent. They help bring non-academic programs to life, and their energy and commitment inspire faculty and staff alike.

Last year, Seven Hills parents logged over 8000 volunteer hours, as they contributed during the school day, after hours, and on weekends.
