The Parent Involvement Association (PIA)

Every parent and guardian is a valued member of the Parent Involvement Association (PIA), the unified parent organization for our Seven Hills community. Through parent involvement and service to the school, parents and guardians foster community and belonging, make new friendships and connections, and have fun together!

The purpose of the PIA is to:
  • Organize the school's non-academic activities that enrich the Seven Hills experience for students, parents, faculty, and staff;
  • Build community and belonging through thoughtful programming;
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, issues, and concerns;
Continue or discover the joy in volunteerism and engage in fundraising activities to support Seven Hills initiatives.

Seven Hills is fueled by parent involvement. Our extraordinary parent volunteers work in the classroom, chaperone on field trips, have the opportunity to sign up for one of the 30+ committees organized by the PIA, provide strategic counsel to administrative staff, serve on the Board of Trustees, and offer professional and mentorship services. Volunteer opportunities are as diverse as the parents who take advantage of them, with plenty of opportunities for working parents to contribute.

Beyond volunteer hours, they are also generous in our Annual Fund and other fundraising initiatives, helping us achieve programmatic improvements and campus growth. Seven Hills parents are also our greatest ambassadors. On the soccer sidelines, at the neighborhood pool, and around town, if you run into Seven Hills parents, ask them what their family's Seven Hills experience has been!

Did you know?

Seven Hills parents are extraordinarily generous with their time and talent. In 2019, Seven Hills parents logged over 8000 volunteer hours, as they contributed during the school day, after hours, and on weekends.
All members of the Seven Hills community are encouraged to join us for our monthly PIA meetings, typically held the first Tuesday of every month to hear about upcoming events, how to get involved, and parent education topics.
"When we were looking at school options for our kids, most of our analysis was about their education. But a little bit was about the parent community, and who we'd be spending time with over the next several years. We've found our friends at Seven Hills."
