6th – 8th Grade

In Middle School, Social Studies becomes a dynamic, discussion-driven journey into history, economics, government, and civics. Students analyze civilizations, investigate historical trends, and connect past events to today’s global issues. Through immersive trips, debates, and research projects, they explore complex narratives and develop their own informed perspectives.
By graduation, students will have developed a rich understanding of history and the critical thinking skills necessary to engage with the world with curiosity, empathy, and confidence.
  • 6th Grade: The rise and influence of Ancient civilizations—how geography, culture, and innovation shaped societies.
  • 7th Grade: A study of American history, democracy, and citizenship, including trips to Washington, D.C., and World War II sites in Europe.
  • 8th Grade: An exploration of the foundations of our world economy—global trade networks, exploration, and the exchange of ideas, goods, and technologies.
