We believe that nutritious foods build better brains. Our Community Lunch Program reflects our whole-child philosophy by offering well-balanced, freshly prepared meals and snacks made daily by our team of chefs in our modernized commercial-grade kitchen, which opened in 2020.
Our program, in partnership with Epicurean Group, fosters connection, equity, healthy choices, and sustainability. Epicurean Group’s artisan approach supports local, organic farms and ranches while adhering to the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s sustainable seafood practices.
Students enjoy a wide variety of options to suit their tastes and dietary needs, including hot and vegetarian entrées, a full salad bar with locally sourced produce, and a sandwich bar featuring house-roasted meats and sun butter and jelly. The menu is entirely nut-free, and Epicurean Group implements thorough protocols to manage allergies and other dietary restrictions.
