Rebecca Blythe

Director of Early Childhood Education
Rebecca leads Seven Hills' Reggio-inspired Early Childhood Education program, overseeing our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms, licensing, and teaching teams. With more than 25 years of experience in independent schools spanning preschool through 8th grade, she has spent her career immersed in the earliest years of childhood, which she'll happily argue are the most important—and the most fun—years in all of education. She holds a BA in Psychology from Lawrence University and an MA in Educational Psychology from New York University.

Rebecca finds young children endlessly fascinating. She believes they come into the world primed for connection and learning, and she never tires of thinking about how to make their days richer, more intentional, and more meaningful—and she sees her role as supporting the teachers and families who make that possible. Outside of school, Rebecca enjoys tending her flower and vegetable gardens, hunting for treasures at thrift stores and estate sales, cooking, and laughter-filled family dinners.
