Curriculum Integration

The most powerful learning happens when students see how knowledge connects across subjects and applies to real life.
Our integrated curriculum encourages them to think holistically, explore connections, and understand learning as a vibrant, connected journey.

Through inquiry-driven themes, students engage deeply, appreciate diverse perspectives, and make lasting connections. Take, for example, our 2nd grade “Global Us” unit on families:
  • Science – Mapping land and water tied to family migration stories
  • Social Studies – Tracing family histories through interviews, photos, and documents
  • Math – Creating timelines to sequence family events and milestones
  • Language Arts – Writing biographies and “Day in the Life” journals comparing past and present
  • Arts – Designing dolls that reflect each student’s cultural heritage
  • Technology – Using digital tools to research, create, and present learning while building digital citizenship
