Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Students develop strong math foundations through hands-on, differentiated workshops that meet them where they are. Children build number sense, explain their thinking, and grow their confidence in math through games, collaborative opportunities, and open-ended activities that reinforce flexible thinking and a mathematical mindset.
Our flexible approach includes:
- Stations for review, challenge, and preview, plus content-connected math games
- Opportunities to seek patterns, explain multiple ways of thinking, and learn from peers
- Thoughtful assessments that highlight growth as learners
- Focus on building a growth mindset and mathematical thinking habits
As math becomes more abstract, students explore place value, multiple strategies for addition and subtraction, and early concepts of multiplication and division. They dive into problem-solving with time, money, data, measurement, and fractions—laying the groundwork for future success.
