3rd – 5th Grade

As students progress into the Upper Elementary grades, their musical journey assumes new depth as instrumental music becomes a core component of the curriculum.
In 3rd Grade, students are introduced to music notation, rhythm, and melody through the use of xylophones, percussion instruments, and recorders. 4th Grade students dive deeper into music theory, learning chords and harmony through ukulele instruction. By 5th Grade, students explore string instruments, including violin, viola, cello, and bass, laying a strong foundation for future musical endeavors.

Each grade also participates in a thematic stage production aligned with their academic curriculum. These performances develop valuable stage presence, teamwork, and expression.
