  The Annual Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition income and the true cost of a Seven Hills education. This is our top fundraising priority each year, supporting nearly every facet of our students’ education. Last year, the Annual Fund, along with the auction, contributed nearly 10% of the school's operating revenue—more than $1 million.   The Annual Fund touches all aspects of the student experience each year and supports ongoing school priorities. Here are a few examples of how your support helps bring the magic of a Seven Hills education to life: 

  • Collaborative Teaching Teams: Enhance learning in math, science, history, music, student support, and more through coordinated efforts ensuring a whole child, each child approach to education.
  • Unique Campus Enhancements: Transform and enhance our surroundings to offer countless learning adventures, inspiring stewardship and appreciation for the environment.
  • Wellness Programming: Foster empathy and resilience through our on-campus counselor, student care teams, advisories, SEL (social-emotional learning) curriculum, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

• Q: Why is 100% participation important?

  A high level of participation in the Annual Fund is a tangible demonstration of our community’s belief in the school, its mission, and its promise to future generations. Each year, the Seven Hills community raises $700,000 in Annual Fund support, with 100% of trustees and employees participating. We seek 100% participation from current families each year.

• Q: How much should I give to the Annual Fund?

  We encourage every member of the community to make a gift that is meaningful to your family! No gift is too large or too small, and all donations are tax-deductible. We hope as many families as possible can meet or exceed our leadership giving level, which begins at $3,000, to help us meet our annual financial goals.

• Q: Why not just raise tuition?

  Seven Hills strives to keep tuition as low as possible to keep the school affordable to more families. With tuition intentionally set below full cost, the Annual Fund gives families the opportunity to support the school through tax-deductible donations rather than tuition increases. Every Seven Hills student benefits from the Annual Fund because the dollars raised surpass what is possible with tuition alone.

• Q: Can I pledge or pay in installments?

  Yes, you may make a one-time gift, pledge now for later payment, or make smaller payments over time. If you'd like to arrange a credit card payment schedule, please contact the Development Office. Gifts to this year's Annual Fund must be completed by the end of our fiscal year, June 30.

• Q: I’ve heard about matching gifts - how does that work?

  Many employers offer generous matching gift programs, which can double or triple your donation to Seven Hills! It is like free money; you get full credit for the total donation amount. Please check with your employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program, and if they do, let the Development Office know your intent.

• Q: How will I be recognized for my gift?

  Your name will be listed alphabetically in the Seven Hills annual report at the giving level that corresponds with your gift. You can also indicate that you wish to remain anonymous when you make your gift.
