Submit an Enrollment Application

The application process begins each Fall for the next school year.  We encourage candidates to apply early and prior to our January 15, 2020 application deadline.  Families who meet the January 15, 2020 application deadline will receive admission notification on March 19, 2020. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a rolling basis and as space allows.   Each enrollment decision is based on the results of an online application, previous school records, an admissions assessment (K-8th), teacher recommendations, and a parent interview. The process is easy to follow with an individualized Admissions Checklist.

A $100 non-refundable application fee is due upon submitting the application. A fee waiver is available upon request.

Access Your Digital Application Checklist

After you submit an inquiry or application, simply log into The JagZone to access your child’s digital checklist. Please use this checklist to schedule your student’s assessment (if applicable), classroom visit, and your parent interview. Additionally, your checklist will provide instructions for requesting teacher recommendations and uploading report cards. Teacher recommendations and report cards may be uploaded before completing an online application.  Parent interviews and classroom visits must be scheduled after completing an online application. Please complete all items on the checklist before the end of February.

Consider Financial Aid

The goal of Seven Hills' financial aid program is to attract and retain qualified students for whom a Seven Hills education might normally be out of reach. We hope that families will not let the cost of tuition deter them from applying to our school.
Seven Hills uses School and Student Services (SSS) to help assess a family’s ability to pay tuition, and to promote objectivity and consistency in financial aid determinations.   In order to be considered for financial aid, families must follow all stated deadlines and requirements.

The Financial Aid Application Deadline is December 15, 2019 for re-enrolling families and January 15, 2020 for new applicant families.

Admission Decisions

Admission decisions will be communicated to families by The Seven Hills School (and all East Bay Independent Schools) on March 19, 2020.  Check your portal in The JagZone for notification of your admission decision. Tuition Assistance decisions will be communicated at the same time. Though independent schools agree not to host public events during the week after decisions are posted, you are encouraged to reach out to us if you would like to visit one last time or talk with anyone within our community.

Did You Know?

The student: teacher ratio at Seven Hills is 8:1, with a ratio of 7:1 in our Preschool and Pre-K programs. This gives teachers the opportunity to really know students, their academic strengths and passions. And it allows for greater differentiation to deepen student learning.
"Each and every teacher takes pride in teaching, and each teacher works as hard as they can to give the students a good education. The effort and time put into making lesson plans, creating special activities, and other learning opportunities is phenomenal. The educators at Seven Hills also teach invaluable life skills that we students will inevitably use in our futures. I will forever be grateful to the teachers and administrators who taught me and took care of me along the way.”
