Seven Hills has a strong commitment to its after-school athletic program. We have a “no-cut” policy, and participation is open to all academically and behaviorally eligible students. Our intention is to create an inclusive program that exposes students to various sports and offers them the opportunity to explore new ones.
The Seven Hills sports program is an exciting gateway for many sixth graders, introducing them to a new menu of opportunities. We provide experiences that unearth hidden talents, instill the courage to take calculated risks, and cultivate essential life skills like teamwork and time management. We encourage Middle School students to engage in one of the many programs offered throughout the year, regardless of their prior sports experience.
Central to our athletic philosophy is the principle of respect, both for one another and for opponents. We place a strong emphasis on appointing excellent role models as coaches and expect good sportsmanship and a calm demeanor from our coaches, athletes, and parents alike.
Here is a general overview of the sports offered each season during a typical school year:
Fall: Girls Volleyball, Coed Flag Football, Coed Cross Country
Winter: Girls Basketball, Boys Fitness
Early Spring: Boys Basketball, Girls Fitness
Spring: Coed Golf, Run Club, Mixed Recreational Sports
Athletics engage the spirit, create comradery, and produce lifelong memories.
