Sammy Buono
Sammy manages student programs outside of school hours and works with teachers to provide an engaging experience for children. She manages the staff, operations, safety, and security of the program and its relationship with the community. Sammy is always on the lookout for a great, new enrichment class idea, so be sure to get in touch if you have one in mind!

Riki Gibson
Riki oversees the event management and execution of all school-wide, development, and parent events. Working closely with the Director of Development and auction co-chairs, it is her goal to continue the tradition of making the auction and other special events successful, fun and memorable for all. Proceeds from the auction contribute to Seven Hills' general program and endowment. In addition to the auction, she oversees all parent volunteer-led programs and events. When not planning an event, Riki is busy raising her two sons and spending time with family and friends. She is a foodie, loves a good workout and enjoys her weekend getaways!

Susanne Goldman
Susanne is the first person parents talk to if they are interested in learning more about Seven Hills. She helps them navigate the admissions process—leading campus tours and parent interviews, assessing prospective students, and guiding parents through applications and related forms. Her job is to determine the fit between Seven Hills and those interested in joining our learning community. Susanne also works with families who are a great fit with the school and demonstrate financial need. Susanne spends her free time swimming, hanging out with her two adult children, and making handmade whimsical art.

Patty Gonser
Patty is the assistant to the Head of Lower School, helping to support all K-5th Grade teachers, students, and their families by keeping things running smoothly. She also handles HR, benefits, and payroll. When she isn’t at Seven Hills, Patty enjoys running, hiking, good food, traveling, and time with friends and family. She and her husband have a busy household, with three children and three dogs.

Corinne Hayhurst
Corinne is responsible for maintaining the school’s standards of internal and external communications. She promotes Seven Hills’ unique educational program and strong school community with integrated content for the School’s website, social media platforms, email, and print communications. She is active in the UC Santa Barbara alumni association and is happiest when near an ocean or lake with her husband and dog.

Stacey Henley
Stacey works in the business office to oversee Seven Hills' daily accounting operations, including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Stacey also helps guide our strategic financial decisions.

Jesús Hernandez
Jesús is indispensable. We call him when we need something built, something moved, something fixed or something figured out. From sign frames to fence posts, from leaky pipes to banners, Jesús is the first person we call when we’re in over our heads.

Tony Hernandez
Tony's job to ensure that all of the school's technology works. There are thousands of technology components working together, from laptops, iPads, and desktops to servers, routers, and fiber runs. Tony is out and about, in offices and classrooms, to support end users, and also supports our facilities team as needed. As we like to say, "if it plugs in, call Tony."

Kim Hughes
Kim plays an integral role in creating and managing the integrated information systems that help the school run smoothly. She also maintains the databases that keep student and family information (registration, directories, conference schedules, report cards, emergency cards – you name it) in good order. When not in front of her dual-screen work computer, she’s busy with her son and daughter (both alumni of Seven Hills), loves going to the theater and concerts with her husband, Pat, and traveling whenever and wherever she can. She’s also an avid professional cycling and hockey fan. If she disappears, check Disneyland.

Barb Jaspar
Barb wears many hats in Development, focusing on strategic development and campaign initiatives including project management, donor relations, communications, foundation proposals, and special events. She has a son in the Seven Hills Middle School and a daughter in the Lower School.

Troy Lane
Troy manages Seven Hills facilities and grounds, helps us schedule and set up for big events, and is the go-to guy for all the details that make our campus beautiful. We couldn’t run the place without him.

Veena Lohia
Veena wears many hats within classrooms and the front office and wears them well. Helping accomplish projects big and small, you may see Veena providing extra support in ECE and Lower School, lending a hand in Extended Day, or covering the front desk.

Dan Murphy
Dan plays a key role in the execution of annual giving, auction, and alumni relations. He is the main point of contact for all alumni events, programming, and communications working closely with the Alumni Council. Dan generates the information needed to create and send out a variety of mailings throughout the year while supporting schoolwide events that inspire philanthropy for Seven Hills. As an avid sports fan, Dan can be found at A’s games and any sporting event in which a Saint Mary’s Gael is competing. His big, extended family lives all over the Bay Area, and he enjoys nothing more than traveling to visit friends across the country.

Mike Murphy
Mike is Seven Hills' on-campus health coordinator, trained as an EMT to deliver a wide range of medical care in illness, injury, and emergency response in addition to the other functions of a school nurse. He is a crucial piece of our COVID-19 prevention, monitoring, and management plan, and also oversees student medical needs, emergency preparations, and Magnus Health data.

Tanner Ragland
Tanner has joined the administration as the Assistant Head for Finance & Operations. Wearing many hats, Tanner brings a wealth of knowledge in managing and creating alignment across teams including operations, finance, admissions, human resources, marketing and communications, and technology. He uses his education management and startup background to support innovative thinking, move strategic priorities forward, and facilitate collaboration with faculty, staff, and Trustees. When not on campus helping the school run smoothly, Tanner can be found golfing, reading, and spending time with his wife Erin, daughter, and son.

Amy Walters
Amy builds relationships that inspire support at The Seven Hills Schools. With 20 years of experience in both independent school and college-level fundraising, Amy and the Development team help raise private support to augment tuition, realize long-range capital projects, grow endowments, engage parents in the life of the school, and strengthen relationships with alumni, alumni families, and grandparents. Amy spends her time off-campus enjoying time with her husband and two teenage boys (both Seven Hills alumni), walking their rescue dog Dash, and attending lots of high school and college basketball games and sporting events.

Emily Wight
Emily takes great care of our families, faculty, and staff and is the "voice" of Seven Hills as she answers incoming calls from her desk - the center of all activity at the school. Emily manages everything from phones to printers, from office supplies to safety drills, and organizes student records for ease of use during the school year. She also assists the Head of School by managing her calendar and handling special projects throughout the year. Emily has three children at Seven Hills and on weekends you can find them hanging out at a park or spending time with family and friends.
