The Seven Hills staff collaborates to create a great learning environment for Seven Hills students, educators and families. We work with and for Seven Hills families from that first campus visit to the poignant moment when our graduates head off to the next adventure—fueled with confidence, optimism and an understanding of what it is to be a responsible citizen. Here are some brief profiles of the Seven Hills administrative staff who keep this place humming.

  • Sammy Buono

    Director of Extended Day and Enrichment
    Sammy oversees student programs outside of regular school hours and collaborates with teachers to provide an engaging experience for children. Her responsibilities include managing staff, program operations, safety, security, and community relationships. Sammy is always on the lookout for a great, new enrichment class idea, so be sure to get in touch if you have one in mind!
  • Riki Gibson

    Family Engagement & Special Events Manager
    Riki is responsible for planning and executing school-wide, development, and parent events. She collaborates closely with the Development team and parent/guardian volunteers to ensure events like auctions are successful, fun, and memorable. Riki also oversees parent volunteer-led programs, including the Parent Involvement Association (PIA) and room parents.
  • Susanne Goldman

    Director of Admission
    Susanne is the initial point of contact for parents interested in learning more about Seven Hills. She guides them through the admissions process, conducting campus tours, parent interviews, and assessing prospective students. Susanne evaluates the fit between Seven Hills and those looking to join the school's learning community. She also manages the Modified Tuition program. 
  • Patty Gonser

    HR, Payroll, and Benefits Manager
    Patty is responsible for handling human resources, benefits, and payroll, ensuring the smooth operation of support systems for teachers, students, and their families. 
  • Corinne Hayhurst

    ​Communications Manager
    Corinne maintains the school's internal and external communications standards. She promotes Seven Hills' news, stories, and educational programs through various platforms, including the school's website, social media, email, and print communications.
  • Stacey Henley

    Stacey oversees the daily accounting operations in the school's business office, which includes accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. She also contributes to strategic financial decision-making.
  • Jesús Hernandez

    Jesús is the go-to person for various maintenance tasks, from building and fixing to solving problems. Whether it's sign frames, fence posts, leaky pipes, or banners, Jesús is the first person we call when we’re in over our heads.
  • Kim Hughes

    Manager, Schoolwide Data Systems
    Kim is integral in creating and managing integrated information systems that keep the school running smoothly. She maintains databases containing student and family information, ensuring that data from inquiries to alumni is in order. When not helping from the "Casita," she’s busy with her son and daughter, both alumni of Seven Hills.
  • Barb Jaspar

    Development Associate
    Barb wears many hats in Development, focusing on strategic development and campaign initiatives. This includes project management, donor relations, communications, foundation proposals, and special events. She has a son in the Seven Hills Middle School and a daughter in the Lower School.
  • Troy Lane

    Director of Facilities
    Troy is responsible for managing Seven Hills' facilities and grounds, including scheduling and setting up for events, and is the go-to guy for all the details that make our campus beautiful. We couldn’t run the school without him.
  • Dan Murphy

    Annual Fund and Alumni Relations Manager
    Dan plays a pivotal role in executing the Annual Fund and auction and is the primary contact for all alumni relations efforts. Dan also manages the school's fundraising databases, generates the necessary information for various mailings, and supports schoolwide events aimed at inspiring philanthropy for Seven Hills.
  • Heidi Plumb

    Environmental Stewardship Coordinator
    Heidi is dedicated to broadening our collaborative efforts and programming for green initiatives across all grade levels and disciplines. She leads the way in embedding environmental stewardship into every facet of our program, setting an example for active school stewardship and a deep respect for our environment.
  • Tanner Ragland

    Associate Head of School for Finance and Operations
    Tanner brings a wealth of knowledge to align and manage various teams, including operations, finance, admissions, human resources, and technology. He uses his educational management and startup background to support innovation, advance strategic priorities, and promote collaboration among faculty, staff, and Trustees.
  • Justin Ridout

    Technology Support Specialist
    Justin's role is to ensure the smooth functioning of all technology at the school. He provides support for a wide range of technology components, from laptops and desktops to servers and routers. Justin is out and about in offices and classrooms to support end users. 
  • Lauren Shallop

    Office and Health Coordinator
    Lauren takes care of the school's families, faculty, and staff and is the "voice" of Seven Hills as she answers incoming calls from her desk - the center of all activity at the school. She manages everything from phones to printers, office supplies to safety drills, and organizes student records for easy access during the school year. Lauren also oversees students' medical needs and health data.
  • Cristi Solomon

    Manager, Epicurean Group
    Cristi is our self-proclaimed "lunch lady!" She is an integral part of the Epicurean team, overseeing the Seven Hills dining program. If you have ideas for lunch or snacks, feel free to share them with her!
  • Amy Walters

    Director of Development
    Amy focuses on building relationships that inspire support for Seven Hills. With 20 years of experience in fundraising for independent schools and colleges, Amy and her Development team work to raise private support for various initiatives, from tuition augmentation to capital projects and endowments. Amy is a parent of two Seven Hills alumni.
  • Emily Wight

    Office Manager and Board Liaison
    Emily supports the Head of School and the administration team with day-to-day operations, calendars, and various special projects throughout the year. She also serves as liaison to the Board of Trustees and collaborates with the front desk to help with the flow of students, parents, and teachers during the busy school days. She has three children in the Seven Hills Lower School.
